DSTDC Data Warehouse Initiation and Use Policy for IOWA Assessments Data

2. Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to establish a basic data warehouse capability for the Division of Student Testing and Data Collection (DSTDC) to support the analysis of the MOE's IOWA Assessments results. The data warehouse will enable DSTDC staff to securely store, access, and analyze these student test score data on an ongoing basis.

3. Policy Statement

DSTDC shall establish and maintain a simple SQL-based data warehouse to store student test score data from the IOWA Assessment system. The data warehouse shall be available to authorized DSTDC staff on a continuous basis to support analysis and reporting activities.

4. Process

DSTDC shall establish procedures under this policiy and in compliance with this and other relevant policies, that specify how the data warehouse will be implemented.
