Warehouse
General
Implements DSTDC duties and functions #4: Organize and maintain a data system pertaining to student testing.
DSTDC is working with external contractors to establish a central repository under its control and management using a data warehouse approach. A data warehouse consists of
- Established data sources
- Data pipelines which bring data from the sources to the centralized repository
- Processes to Extract, Transform, and Load the data into the repository's databases
- External access for authorized users to the stored data
These typical features of a data warehouse match DSTDC's needs:
- Centralized and DSTDC controlled and managed data repository
- DSTDC specified data formats, protocols, and processes
- Potential for automated Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) and reporting
This initial phase will be unertaken from Dec 11, 2025 to Sep 30, 2026.
